AiB ATONE Delegation Program - Cycle 1
The AiB ATONE Delegation Program is designed to recognize and support both past and future committed contributions made by the AtomOne validators within the AtomOne ecosystem. AiB’s objective is to help contribute to a more decentralized, secure and community driven AtomOne ecosystem by acknowledging validators who have made meaningful contributions and remain committed to the long-term success of the project. By helping to support the decentralization of the validator set, the program aims to further decentralize the distribution of network stake and voting power.
You can learn more about the AiB Atone Delegation Program here.
For this cycle, AiB will delegate 6,885,604 ATONE tokens (Delegation date, 27March 2025) to AtomOne validators who have contributed or have committed to contributing to the AtomOne project beyond the essential responsibilities of operating a validator. Validator applications opened on January 8th and were extended to February 4th. As part of the program requirements, all applicants underwent KYC verification and were publicly required to disclose any conflicts of interest. To support decentralization, validators holding more than 3% voting power from the total delegated stake of the AtomOne chain were not considered for delegation.
Delegation Assessment & Leveling Criteria
Each of these contributions were evaluated over the past month to assess their impact, ultimately determining the final allocation of delegated tokens for each recipient. Following a thorough and diligent assessment, validators have been categorized into four levels based on their current contributions and future commitments. This approach ensures a fair and transparent delegation process, recognizing and supporting those who have actively contributed to the growth and decentralization of the AtomOne ecosystem.
Delegation Levels (Cycle I, March 2025):
Level 1 – Highly Engaged Contributors (159,473 ATONE)
In addition to having made technical contributions or provided integration tools or services, validators in the level 1 category also actively engaged with the development of the project from the beginning, they either participated in the workshops for the drafting the Constitution or the GovGen working groups or attended GovGen and AtomOne Townhalls and contributed to community discussions and documents.
Level 2 – Technical Contributors (106,315 ATONE)
Validators in the level 2 category provided valid technical contributions but did not previously take part in AtomOne or GovGen working groups.
Level 3 – Potential Future Contributors (70,877 ATONE)
The third level of delegation is reserved for those validators with limited past contributions but who have outlined some concrete plans for future involvement in the growth of the network.
Level 4 – Minimal Contribution (47,252 ATONE)
We understand that the project is in its early stages and some validators have only recently joined to support AtomOne so the 4th level is designated for those that have not provided solid evidence of past contributions or a clear roadmap for future engagement beyond operating a node.
Here is the list of delegations as of Mar 27, 2025. We’re continuing to refine the list and are working on a few more additions to this list, which we’ll be sharing soon. Stay tuned for further details!
The final amounts listed in the table represent the total delegation each validator has received for this cycle. This means the amounts include both new delegations and any previous delegations from AiB. To clarify how this amount was calculated, here are the different scenarios:
New validators: If a validator had no prior delegation, they will receive the full amount shown in the table as a new delegation.
Lower previous delegation: If a validator previously had a lower delegation than the amount listed in their leveling assessment, they will receive an increase, meaning an additional delegation, equal to the difference between their new and old delegation.
Higher previous delegation: If a validator previously had a higher delegation than the amount listed, they will be undelegated for the excess amount, reducing their delegation to match the new value.
Voting power cap: If a validator qualifies for a level but the new delegation would increase their voting power above 3%, the delegation is adjusted to ensure their total voting power remains below this threshold.
Contributor Validators Over 3%: If a contributor validator was previously ineligible for the program due to exceeding 3% voting power, but their delegation reduction in this cycle brings them below that threshold, they will receive a delegation aligned with their assessed level—as long as their total voting power remains under 3%.
This ensures that each validator’s final delegation accurately reflects the amounts specified in the table.
What’s Next?
This assessment was conducted with careful consideration to ensure delegations align with engagement and impact. Delegations coming from AiB for AtomOne were deployed on March 27 of 2025, be sure to follow along in Discord so that you can stay informed of updates coming from the community.
Selected validators will retain their delegations for a six-month period, after which we will review progress on their stated commitments and assess their contribution meant to support the program’s objectives. As part of our ongoing commitment to community-driven development, we look forward to seeing further contributions from validators over the next six months.
Please note that AiB reserves the right to revoke or modify its delegations from any participating validator at any time and for any reason.
